that's what friends are for

i am finally back in singapore.not quite used to it,especially the weather.IT'S SO HOT! still not quite used to everything around me,afterall i have been away for 5mths..need some time to adapt to everything.i am so free now and yet i refused to go out cos i am in debt to my bank acct and i have no craving for shopping at the moment.i guess i did too much shopping in shanghai.for the time being, i shall stay away from shopping centres and stuff..

went to old airport road for dinner on the day that i was back in spore.when i reached there, i realised that i don't have much craving for any food.the only thing that i wanted to eat is "or lua"

met up with salt on saturday for vittles.vittles standard is still as good! the dory fish is so delicious. and salt is so nice to buy me a sunflower!! had a nice time chit chatting with you(though i am the one doing most of the talking..hee)

and on sunday,met qing ning for breakfast at BK and we caught the movie,kungfu panda! it's so funny..the panda is so clumsy!! the movie is not bad but the movie tix is so expensive! 10dollars leh...

and yest, met up with the san bas for dinner cos elna's leaving for beijing again today..after dinner, they decided to be "romantic",so we went to the esplanade rooftop to chit chat and took silly pictures..as usual, i began to feel quite tired at about 9pm and i started stoning AGAIN..

meeting with fairies on thursday night for SIZZLER!!! and on saturday...RAINBOW SISTERS!!!

tomorrow is the day!!! last day of work!!!and i am going back on friday!!

time flies! i felt as if i just came not long ago and i totally forgot how i managed to survive the 5mths here.not that i am leaving, kinda feel sad..going to be back to reality AGAIN! i guess i will return to this place some day in future=)

mu luggage is bursting already..or rather it already did! i didn't even realise i bought so much stuff within this 5mth period.but alot of things are not mine..lare presents for people and stuff but i admit that i did buy alot of stuff too la! wonder how am i gg to bring all those stuff back..i want to bring my aligator bolster back..but no idea if my china bag got some more space for it..afterall it has accompanied me for about 4mths!

excited is the word to describe my feelings now! finally done with my disgusting,never-ending translation..I AM FREE NOW! i am so looking forward to tonight's dinner,tomorrow's farewell lunch and finally HOME on friday!!!!!!!

the second last weekend in shanghai just zoomed past.. weekends really seem to pass so quickly,before we even realise it. had my final dash at 7pl on sat, buying things for people and helping my relatives.before i even realised it, i have spent almost all my pay buying those things and by the time i finished buying things for them, i am too tired and the place was too crowded for me to shop for something for myself. so i ended up buying only a few things for myself=( SO,this means tt, i will have to go again some time this wk and it MUST MUST MUST be a wkday,in case it's too crowded. this coming wkend will be a long wkend with a PH on monday!

went to the shanghai zoo yest. it's china's children's day so the zoo was rather crowded. i was expecting something great about the zoo but it was a total disappointment and i thought singapore zoo was much better (from my recollections of the zoo when i was 9yrs old..HAHA) wasted my 30rmb on the trip.

Firstly, the zoo is so noisy!

secondly, the zoo is so dirty with all the idiotic inconsiderate people throwing empty bottles and rubbish into the animal's living area. and there's even someone who's fishing in the pond surrounding the area where the tiger lives!!!

thirdly, the people are feeding the animals like nobody's business when there's a sign that says "Please do not feed the animals"

And lastly,the panda, which is supposed to be their "国宝" has a worse living condition than the tiger. the pandas are so dirty and cramped in this tiny area!

PLEASE don't ever go to the shanghai zoo anymore!

i finally went to eat haagen dazs ice cream yesterday! though the variety is so very limited, the ice cream is good! fantastic!! HAPPINESS!

ren ming guang chang is so beautiful at night with all the neon lights! it might be my last chance to enjoy such a beautiful sight again! perhaps this is the most beautiful place in shanghai..at least there isn't much pushing and squeezing.
